Welcome to the Xposer partner portal

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Xposer partner portal at https://partner.xposer.io, including host search, picks, claims, outreach tools, and related features (collectively, the "Services"). By logging in or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The partner portal is a private program. Accounts are created by Xposer. There is no public registration.

These Terms sit alongside the Non-Disclosure Agreement you must accept before using partner features. If the two conflict on confidentiality, the Non-Disclosure Agreement controls.

1. Definitions

  • "You," "Your," or "Partner" refers to the individual or organization using the Services.
  • "We," "Us," "Our," or "Xposer" refers to Xposer, the provider of the Services.
  • "Services" means the partner portal and its features: searching the shared host index, picking hosts for inspection, claiming exclusive outreach rights, generating outreach material, marking hosts as upgrading, and related tools.
  • "Content" means host records, software versions, vulnerability information, contact details, outreach material, and any other data you can see or generate in the portal.
  • "Xposer.io" means the public Xposer website and services at https://www.xposer.io, which are covered by their own terms.

2. Description of Services

The partner portal lets invited partners:

  • Search a shared index of websites and their detected software versions.
  • Filter by product, version, vulnerability, rank, and other attributes.
  • Pick hosts for private inspection, then claim exclusive outreach rights on a host.
  • Generate outreach and offer material for website owners.
  • Mark a claimed host as upgrading when factory work has started, and release the claim when work is done.

We aim to keep the index accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. Web technologies change, and detection relies on patterns, headers, and third-party data such as CVE databases.

3. Your obligations

You agree to:

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms, the Non-Disclosure Agreement, and applicable law, including data protection and cybersecurity rules (for example GDPR in the Netherlands and the EU).
  • Use portal information only for partner-program work: evaluating sites and contacting their owners as part of the Xposer partner program.
  • Not use the Services to hack, phish, or otherwise attack websites, or to scan or target hosts without a lawful basis.
  • Be solely responsible for the content, delivery, and consequences of any outreach or other communication you send.
  • Keep account credentials confidential, and complete two-factor authentication as required.
  • Not share, publish, or sell Content except as these Terms and the Non-Disclosure Agreement allow.

4. Account and access

  • Partner accounts are created by Xposer. You may not create extra accounts or share your login.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must tell us at once if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, the Non-Disclosure Agreement, or behave in a way we consider harmful to Xposer, other partners, website owners, or third parties.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you logged in, protect against cross-site request forgery, remember your language, and operate the Services. Details are in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services you consent to that use.

6. Intellectual property

  • Unless we say otherwise, Xposer and its licensors own the intellectual property in the Services and all Content.
  • You may use Content only for your partner-program work, subject to these Terms and the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
  • You must not republish, sell, rent, sublicense, copy, or redistribute Content without our prior written consent, except for sharing with a website owner (or their authorized representative) when your outreach requires it.

7. Use of the portal

  • The portal has no public API. You must not scrape, overload, or automate access in a way that disrupts the Services, unless we have given written permission.
  • We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if you misuse the Services.

8. Outreach

  • The Services may help you contact website owners about security concerns or upgrades.
  • You are solely responsible for what you send, how you send it, and what follows from it.
  • Xposer is not liable for disputes, claims, or damages arising from your outreach.

9. Data and privacy

  • Host records in the portal come from Xposer's index. Treat them as confidential portal information.
  • We process account and usage data to run the partner program, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Please read the Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data.

10. Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xposer excludes representations, warranties, and conditions relating to the Services.
  • We do not guarantee that technology detection, vulnerability information, or host records are complete, accurate, or up to date.
  • You are responsible for verifying findings and for any action you take, including outreach.
  • Xposer is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services, including errors in detection, missed vulnerabilities, or communications you send.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Linking and framing

  • You may link to the public Xposer site in a way that is not deceptive and does not imply sponsorship we have not given.
  • You may not frame partner portal pages, or alter how they appear, without our prior written approval.

12. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, without notice, if you breach these Terms or we consider your conduct harmful.
  • When access ends, your right to use the Services ends at once. Confidentiality obligations in the Non-Disclosure Agreement continue as that agreement states.

13. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
  • Courts of the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.
  • Before legal action, the parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute by negotiation or mediation.

14. Changes

  • We may update these Terms at any time. The current version will be posted on https://partner.xposer.io.
  • You will be asked to accept the current Terms when you log in. If you do not agree, do not log in or use the Services.
